ERTC 18th Annual Meeting

Attendees joined us in Budapest for the ERTC 18th Annual Meeting, and took part in the premier meeting for oil refiners and their suppliers. Senior representatives from across the globe came together for this leading event for the international downstream industry, which combined a true learning experience with outstanding networking opporunities.
By attending this premier oil refining conference attendees gained knowledge of the latest technologies being developed and implemented as well as learning from case studies from some of the world's leading refiners.
We are pleased to have just confirmed 2 new speakers:
NEW SPEAKER: Otabek Karimov, Head of Supply, Logistics & Planning, ROSNEFT
Otabek has held positions in the business development and analytics, supply and currently the logistics and planning departments. His previous roles have included project managing in the strategy and M&A departments at ConocoPhillips in the UK as well as head of representative office for the commercial division at ConocoPhillips Russia.
At the ERTC Annual Meeting, Otabek will deliver the second keynote on Thursday 21 November. His presentation will examine and shed some light on the effects of the current and proposed taxation changes on Russian refining, production and product flows
NEW SPEAKER: Artur Thernesz, Executive Director, Refining & Marketing Business Division, INA
Artur Thernesz is an internationally acknowledged chemical engineer and manager. He has been working in the downstream industry for more than 20 years. Artur gained experience at Exxon in America and was in charge of retail planning for ESSO Central Europe, covering Germany, Switzerland, Austria and other East-European countries. He actively contributed to the merger of local Exxon and Mobil companies. After being invited to join MOL in 2005, Artur established, and has been leading the co-located Asset, Product and Renewables Development activities in the Downstream Division. Artur has been a main contributor to identifying and pursuing major investment programs in the MOL Group.
At the ERTC Annual Meeting in Budapest, Artur will draw on his considerable experience to provide a refiners perspective on the Expert Panel "Question Time" session. You will be able to put your questions directly to him
