ERTC 16th Annual Meeting is introducing a new Audience Engagement Service
The ERTC 16th Annual Meeting is introducing a new Audience Engagement Service that will allow you to use your own mobile phone and androids, to gain more value from the upcoming event. This service is provided by our technology partner SpotID.
For optimum effectiveness, we encourage you to supply your mobile number and twitter ID (optional) so you can participate in all of the available services listed above. Your contact details will not be used for any marketing purposes outside of the event, and will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent!
Throughout the 3 days, you will be able to freely particpiate in:
Audience Votes/Polls
Use your own mobile phone/tablet to cast votes and answer audience questions. Results are shown real-time within seconds of the votes received from sms, email, twitter, facebook, skype and mobile web.
Sending Questions to Speakers
Use your own mobile phone/tablet to send questions and comments to the speaker/panel. Your contribution is collected within seconds from sms, email, twitter, facebook, skype and mobile web. At some events, these questions may be publically displayed. At other events, the questions may be directed to a Monitor/Screen on the stage for the Speaker/Panel to read. Audience Questions be anonymous or Identity revealing, shown in the first column left of the questions. The far right iconic column indicates how questions have been received.
Contacting and Networking with other Delegates
Event organisers want to assist you to network with other delegates that you are interested in meeting. With SpotiD, you will have access to a delegate that may/may not include names, roles or companies, but for certain, will NOT include personal contact details.
If you want to send an introductory message or meeting request to another delegate, you can use sms, email, twitter, facebook, skype and mobile web to do so. Your message is sent to us, and we forward it to your intended contact along with your contact details, so they can reach out to you; however you do not receive their contact details unless they choose to accept your invitation. See simple example here.
Exchange Digital Business Cards
Another variation of Delegate Networking shown above is the ability for SpotiD to host all the contact details for each delegate and allow delegates to request digital business cards. In that case, a delegate list is not published and each delegate is assigned a code (usually displayed on the reverse side of their ticket ). If they want to give you their digital business card, they can send it to you, and you each get each other's digital business card sent to your phone. With each business card, a .vcf file is attached, so that you can simply import it directly into your address book without typing anything.
Receive Session Reminders
Do you ever forget to attend a session/track that you registered for? Perhaps you got distracted, or couldn't find it?
You will receive a friendly personalied reminder to your mobile alerting you to a session that you have registered for, is about to start, and the location. Simple and unobtrusive.
You will be able to do all of this by using a variety of options from your mobile phone. You will be able to use SMS, Email, Twitter or a mobile web browser.
For optimum effectiveness, we encourage you to supply your mobile number and twitter ID (optional) so you can participate in all of the available services listed above. Your contact details will not be used for any marketing purposes outside of the event, and will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent!
At registration, on Tuesday 29th November, you will receive your event guide which will contain a delegate list with their unique ID code. You will be able to request meetings with other conference attendees by texting or emailing their unique code (whichever is your preferred option).
No contact information or names will be visible unless you accept a meeting request, so your privacy is guaranteed!
However, if you would like to opt out of this service at any time on the day:
• Text spotid stop to 447781475111 or
• Email ertc@spotid.me with spotid stop in the subject field.
and you will be removed from the Delegate Notification system altogether.
This is a great networking tool, allowing you to contact delegates, speakers and sponsors throughout the conference, and making sure you make the most of your ERTC 16th Annual Meeting experience.
